So, what’s the process?
Consultation
Our staging stylist will come to your home for the initial consultation, take some reference photos and start to get a sense of the design direction.
Within our consultation, we’ll get to know you, your selling situation and your home, before taking a tour with you from room to room. Depending on your requirements and situation, we’ll then tailor the quote to your specific needs.
Proposal
Within 24-48 hours of our consultation, we’ll prepare and email you your unique proposal, including the quote and contract for review
Booking
Once you’ve approved and signed your styling proposal, we’ll confirm a suitable time for furniture delivery and staging. This will usually be based on your deadlines for photography and marketing, and our availability.
We typically like to install three days prior to photography, just to make sure everything is looking spot on, and 2 weeks’ notice is advised. If you can’t give us 2 weeks notice, if possible, we will do everything we can to accommodate your time frame.
We kindly require full payment one week before furniture delivery is scheduled. This means we can arrange the moving truck in advance and get the design direction under way.
Furniture Delivery and Install
We’ll call you three days before the delivery date to confirm access details and arrange collection of things like house keys and access cards.
The install process can often take up to 3 days to complete, depending on the size of the home.
Once we’ve worked our magic, you’ll be all set to get some incredible photos, attract buyers and get them through the door.
Removal
On the successful sale of your property (fingers crossed!), or the contract’s expiry, we’ll be in touch to arrange the removal.
If you’d like to extend your contract, that’s usually not a problem, but we will need seven days’ notice.
Every home is different. So at Home Edit, there’s no one size fits all. We believe in creating the perfect, bespoke look for every home, whatever that home looks like. For that reason, we don’t do packages. However, please give us a call and we can discuss your options.
